Four to beam down, Mr Scott!

This is is possibly the coolest Star Trek TOS fan art I’ve ever seen!

No, but seriously, where did this come from? Who is the artist? Where was this taken?

It’s an art installation at the Microsoft office Studio D in Redmond, Washington, made by Devorah Sperber. It’s made of 75,000 beads.

i mostly just wanted to practice lighting stuff with this…but now i can’t stop thinking about what would happen if a flytrap ate a firefly. it probably unlocks some kind of secret, i bet.

found this here and wanted to see what it would look like animated.  Thanks, Obi

Hello! I was wondering what software you were using for your motion capture with six webcams, and whether it requires a certain type of camera.

I have no idea when you asked this, but we were using iPiSoft recorder, because it was the only program that let us record so many feeds in sync.  Well, the only one that wasn’t ridiculously expensive.
